Do you photograph weddings in Penticton and the South Okanagan?
Yes, regularly. I travel to Penticton, Naramata, Summerland and Okanagan Falls for weddings and elopements, with documentary photography and cinematic film available on their own or booked together. The South Okanagan light is a genuine treat to work in, especially late in the day.
Is there a travel fee for Penticton weddings?
Penticton is an easy trip from my Kelowna base, so travel is often minimal or nothing at all. Whatever it comes to, I quote it transparently up front as part of your estimate. There are no hidden fees and nothing appears on your invoice that we haven't already talked about.
What does a Penticton wedding photographer cost?
Collections run from $2,200 for a 2-hour Mini Day up to $3,800 for an 8-hour Full Day, plus GST. Half Day coverage is $2,800, and engagement, maternity and family Mini Sessions are $350. Video only is priced the same as photography, and booking Photo + Video together runs $3,800 for a Mini Day, $4,800 for a Half Day and $6,500 for a Full Day with a second shooter included. Film and digital are included in every collection, along with a private online gallery.
Which Penticton venues do you know well?
The Naramata Bench wineries are a favourite, along with Poplar Grove Winery, God's Mountain Estate, Linden Gardens, Skaha Lake and Munson Mountain. Summerland and Okanagan Falls are both comfortably in range too. If your venue isn't on that list, that's not a problem, just ask and I'll come to you.
What will my Penticton wedding photos look like?
Warm, natural and documentary. I stay in the background for most of the day capturing what actually happens, then offer calm, simple direction when it's time for portraits. Every final photo is delivered three ways: my signature colour edit, my black and white edit, and my film emulation. You get all three of every image, and sneak peeks land within 72 hours.
