Couple at golden hour beside Okanagan Lake during a Kelowna wedding film

Kelowna & the Okanagan, BC

Okanagan wedding videographer

Wedding films that feel like the day actually felt. Warm, documentary, and graded with a film look so they age well instead of dating themselves. Films from $2,200, in 4K.

What do your wedding films look like?

Every film gets the same warm, documentary treatment as my photography, with a film-look grade so it feels timeless rather than trendy. I am not making a music video of your wedding. I am recording what happened, in the order it happened, so that in ten years the film still sounds and looks like the two of you rather than like the year you got married.

That means real audio matters as much as the images. Your vows are recorded on a wireless mic on every collection, and speeches are captured on wireless mics too from the Half Day up. On a Full Day I also run a backup recorder, because vows are the one thing on a wedding day that genuinely cannot be repeated.

Can I see a reel?

Honestly: not a public one yet. My wedding films are a newer part of what I offer, and I would rather show you recent work directly than put up a thin highlight reel to fill a gap on this page. Get in touch and I will happily send you full recent films to watch, not just a thirty-second cut.

If you want a sense of how I see a wedding day in the meantime, the wedding portfolio is the same eye, same instincts, same approach to light and moments.

Should you book photo, video, or both?

All three are available, and video only costs exactly the same as photography at every length: a Full Day film is $3,800, the same as a Full Day of photos.

When you book Photo + Video together I bring a second shooter, so nothing gets traded off. I move to video, my second is on stills, and the two of us cover your day from more than one angle all day long. It is one small team telling a single story, rather than two companies working around each other. Booking both together also saves you between $600 and $1,100 against booking the two separately.

Where do you film weddings in the Okanagan?

I am based in Kelowna and film throughout the valley: Kelowna and West Kelowna, Penticton and the Naramata Bench, Vernon and Coldstream, Lake Country, Summerland, Peachland and Osoyoos. Vineyard ceremonies, lakeside receptions, backyard weddings and elopements are all familiar ground. You can see the full list of areas served, and I travel across British Columbia and beyond.

How far in advance should you book?

Peak Okanagan wedding season runs roughly June through September, and those Saturdays go first. If your date is in that window, it is worth checking availability early. Shoulder-season and weekday dates are usually easier, and often calmer days to film.

Still working out your schedule? The wedding day timeline guide walks through realistic time blocks, including how to plan a portrait window around sunset, which matters just as much for film as it does for photographs.
